These solid wood bunk beds can be purchased ready to assemble or you can easily build them yourself with my plans. Bunk bed kits are available for many different styles and models including Twin/Twin bunk beds, Twin/Full bunk beds, Day Beds, Trundle Beds, Stackable bunk beds, and Loft bunk beds. Bunk beds can be customized to suit individual tastes and needs. The bunk beds are sold as a kit where you can avoid the "grunt work" and do only the fun stuff of assembling and finishing.

Twin Size Loft Beds

All bunk beds are priced with the wood unfinished for the customer to use own creativity in choice of finish. The wood is cut to proper lengths and size, sanded smooth, corners rounded, holes predrilled and hardware and complete assembly instructions provided. The assembly consists of fastening the individual pieces together at the pre-drilled connection holes. Tools required are an electric screwdriver and 1/2" open end or socket wrench. We use 1-1/2" thick Southern Yellow Pine that has knots and natures irregularities to give it a natural rustic appearance. Bunk boards and mattresses are not included in the purchase. Bunk boards are 3/4" plywood that can be readily obtained from your local building supply store. Shipment is by UPS ground. Any parts damaged in shipment will be promptly replaced without charge.

We also offer a stain and finish service that is optional. The customer can choose Minwax "'Wood Finish" color for our use to stain the bed kit. We apply a light top coat over the stain, hand rub the wood with steel wool, and repeat the process several times. The end product is a professional and beautifully finished wood.

We regret that we are currently unable to ship bed kits out of the continental United States. For Alaska and Hawaii residents, please contact us for shipping charges. MOST BED KITS ARE SHIPPED WITHIN 10 WEEKS AFTER THE ORDER IS PLACED. HOWEVER, PLEASE CONTACT US VIA EMAIL BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER TO INQUIRE ABOUT AN ESTIMATED SHIPPING DATE.

►OUR GUARANTEE: If for any reason a customer is not satisfied with a purchase, it can be returned to us in unused, undamaged condition. It must be in re-saleable condition and you must obtain prior approval to return. All return packing and shipping costs must be paid by the customer. In the event of an item damaged/lost during shipping, we will replace the damaged piece(s). Photos of damaged pieces as well as damaged shipping materials will need to be provided. Please understand that we can not offer refunds or exchanges on any plans that have been opened or that we have transmitted by electronic means.

If you prefer to build it completely yourself, you can easily do it with the same plans that I use in my shop. Beginners have no trouble at all in following the plans to build any of the bunk bed models that we offer.
